I don't know where you are getting your nutrition information, but 10 oz of cream cheese doesn't have 1860 calories. 8 oz is 720 calories, so the correct calorie count should be 900 calories for 10 oz, or 45 or so calories per serving for this (assuming 20 servings).
this is a good idea, except that its pretty stiff, and not as pliant as your usual dips.

It's only stiff when chilled. Add some sour cream to make it easier to dip.
Made this mostly as directed, omitted chives and black pepper, added 1/8 tsp ground red pepper, 1/4 tsp paprika, squeeze of lime, and drizzle of cream till desired consistency. This is awesome!
