– 1 cup Onion – 3 tbsp Rendered Bacon Fat – 1 pinch Kosher Salt – 1.5 lbs Ground Pork – 1 Egg Yolk – 1 tbsp Garlic Powder – 1 tbsp Onion Powder – 1 tsp Ground Mustard – 1 tsp Ground Cumin – ¼ tsp Red Pepper Flakes – 1 tsp Kosher Salt – ½ tsp Ground Pepper – 6 slices Jarlsberg Cheese

Go ahead and add all the spices for the pork patties into a large bowl. We are going to mix well by hand to incorporate.
Form the pork mixture into burger patties. You’ll have enough ground pork for about six pork burgers.
Cook the pork patties until golden brown to develop great flavors!
