1 LB Bacon slices, 16 strips thick cut

– Rimmed baking sheet – Aluminum foil – Tongs – Paper Towels
Turn your oven to 400 degrees and line the baking sheet with foil and layer the bacon.
Cook the bacon in the oven for 15 minutes. Keep an eye on the bacon so it doesn't burn. Lay the baked bacon on paper towels to absorb excess grease.
Bacon grease doesn't need to be refrigerated. You can keep it in a sealed container right on the counter, ready for use in whatever dish you are cooking.
