LOW CARB JOURNEY
For me, McDonald's is the last fast-food restaurant I would consider for a low-carb meal when I’m hungry.
Really, the only time I ever wonder if I can eat at McDonald's is when I travel and run out of delicious homemade low-carb snacks.
It's worse when I have cranky kids with me. But sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do. So I did some research on how to eat low carb at McDonald's.
A low carb diet is a nutritional plan that focuses on limiting carbohydrates and replacing them with proteins and healthy fats.
Avoid soda, smoothies, desserts, crispy chicken sandwiches, hash browns, fries, and anything made with flour.
Communicate your needs to the cashier and don't be afraid to customize your preferences.
Look for high-protein and high-fiber options to increase satiety. Click on the article to access my list of McDonald's low-carb options.
My whole life I have fought and lost the weight loss battle... until recently when I changed my entire way of eating to Low Carb / Keto. In SIX MONTHS I lost 10+ INCHES off of my waistline by eating my own low carb recipes. I'll be sharing more recipes with you... I'm a true believer in the low carb lifestyle!!
