Let's whip up this Crispy Sauteed Spinach with Bacon in 3 simple steps!

Step 1

Sautee the shallots in bacon fat until translucent.

Step 2

Add in the spinach right on top of the sauteed shallots. Season with salt.

Step 3

Add in the chopped bacon into the sauteed spinach. Sprinkle some red pepper flakes for heat.

Pro Tip:

Always put MORE spinach in the pan than you think you will need.  It is truly astounding just how much volume is lost when the spinach wilts.
