This Green Beans and Mushrooms recipe turned fresh green beans into my family's favorite. It cooks in under 20 minutes and the best part– it's low carb and keto-friendly.
Green beans Bacon Mushrooms Shallots Olive oil Kosher salt Pepper
Gather up your ingredients, mince the shallots, slice the bacon and chop the mushrooms into quarters.
Add the mushrooms to a HOT and dry pan. No oil or salt. Stir and watch them brown nicely in the pan.
After a few minutes, add in the sliced bacon. Continue to cook, stirring frequently.
Add in the shallots. Continue to cook until the shallots have turned translucent and then set aside.
After the mushrooms, bacon and shallots have been removed from the pan, add in the green beans, salt, pepper and oil.
Add the mushrooms, bacon and shallots back into the pan. Add in the balsamic vinegar and cook for 1-2 minutes more.
