Carrot Salad Ingredient List
- 4-5 large carrots washed, trimmed, and julienne sliced (4 cups yield)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup shallot finely diced
- 1 tablespoon each: fresh parsley fresh cilantro, and chives
- 2 tablespoons chili oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
Preparation Steps
Gather all the ingredients and tools for this recipe.
Wash the carrots, then trim and julienne-slice them.
Finely dice shallots.
Squeeze lemon juice.
Add the mayonnaise, heavy cream, shallot, parsley, cilantro, chives, kosher salt, fresh cracked pepper, chili oil, lemon juice, and balsamic vinegar to a bowl. Mix well.
Add the seasoned mixture to the carrots in a large bowl and mix well to incorporate.
