Ingredients

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup extra-light olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 tablespoons chipotle sauce Tabasco
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • Combine egg, garlic, lemon juice, extra-light olive oil, and chipotle Tabasco in an immersion blender beaker.
  • Blend on high until the chipotle aioli has formed.
  • Transfer from the beaker to a bowl, and serve immediately.

Notes

Not a fan of Chipotle Tabasco Sauce? That's ok. You can use the juice from a can of Chipotles in Adobo sauce.
Want to control the heat? Add in less Chipotle Sauce and continue to blend while tasting and adding more.
You may also use other hot sauces in the place of chipotle. This aioli recipe is delicious with Cholula brand hot sauce too!
