Ingredients

Easy Sauteed Mushrooms Ingredient List

  • 2 10- ounce packages of baby Bella mushrooms rinsed and sliced or quartered
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • Fresh parsley chopped fine for garnish

Instructions

Preparation Steps

  • Wash the mushrooms and quarter them
  • Wash the parsley, cilantro, of fresh chives and chop

Cooking Instructions

  • Heat the heavy-bottomed pan over high heat
  • Add the mushrooms to the hot pan. After 4 to 5 minutes, they will release juices and start to brown.
  • After 5 to 7 minutes, the mushrooms will have browned nicely and be ready to absorb fat.
  • Add the olive oil and butter to the pan. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for 2 to 3 more minutes.
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning. Turn off the heat and add the chopped parsley to garnish.
