Let’s Work Together
Thank you for visiting my blog! What began as a hobby for me has turned into an amazing adventure. I have the great privilege to do what I love while meeting and working with incredible people… it’s awesome. After many years in the corporate world, I realized that I’d rather be a chef! With the support of my familyand friends, I jumped in with both feet and have never looked back. Now I am looking forward to continue expanding my network by partnering with others who share my passion for amazing food that’s easy and accessible to all! Let’s work together to have food inspire life’s adventures.

Cooking Coach & Video Classes
I firmly believe anyone can cook great meals! So, if you have the desire, but need a little guidance, let me help! Together we can setup a FaceTime or Skype call to review what’s going on and virtually cook together. From ingredient prep through plating, you’ll end up with a fantastic meal, improved cooking skills and a wonderful experience. Please schedule your virtual cooking session with me one week in advance and plan to set aside a minimum of one hour to cook. For information regarding online cooking class creation and development, please be sure to use the contact form below.
At I’d Rather Be a Chef, we are always looking to work with likeminded professionals who share our passion and views. If you have a product or service that you feel would be of interest to our readers, I’d like to hear about it! There are many opportunities to promote products and services that fit our mission. Sponsored posts are also promoted on our social media channels. And I always disclose my relationship with brands and/or organizations with a disclaimer at the end of any post, per FTC guidelines. Contact me directly for further information on sponsor/partnerships.
Recipe Development & Cookbook Assistance
Developing recipes is one of my favorite parts of this job. I love doing it for my own projects and feel equally rewarded when I can help others do it, too. I have written, cooked and, of course, tasted every recipe on this site. If a dish doesn’t taste incredible, it doesn’t get posted. Let me help you create, test and photograph delicious recipes that incorporate your product or brand. I offer many options that allow for inclusion in your own publication or here on I’d Rather Be A Chef.
If you are working on a cookbook, I can write recipes according to your guidelines. My services may include shopping for ingredients, testing (and retesting when necessary) recipes, as well as styling and photography. So, let’s talk about what you want to cook!
Food, Restaurant, Product Photography & Styling
Photographing food to look as good as it tastes is an art—and one I enjoy almost as much as cooking! I am proud to say that I shot every picture featured here on I’d Rather Be a Chef and would love to help you make a mouth-watering impression for your next project. My photography experience includes shooting food, restaurant interiors/exteriors and products, as well. Contact me to talk about your goals!
Today, I am fortunate enough to call Aix en Provence, France my home. Beautiful, fresh produce is in abundance here. Local cooking is simply off the charts. And as you can imagine, eating here is always a memorable experience. So, I invite you to consider me if you are in need of a freelance writer to collaborate on cooking, food or travel related articles in France or the surrounding countries. I welcome the opportunity to share my experiences with your readers.
Working with Food Bloggers
If you have been writing recipes and blogging about food for even just a short time then you know that it is hard! It’s not easy to take beautiful pictures, manage all the social media channels, write fantastic and engaging blog posts about your recipes. If you are feeling lost or need some help with your site, check out my gig to Review & Improve Your Food Blog. I can help save you a ton of time, turn your blog around and start making some money!
