Transcription of Reasons to Love Rotisserie Chicken:
Hi, I’m Scott and welcome back to the Cooking Corner. Today I’m gonna talk about why I love rotisserie chicken. I’ve got five reasons.
- The first is that it absolutely saves time. I can bring this thing home, cut it up, and have it on the table for my family in literally under five minutes. It’s just simple and easy.
- Second, it’s super versatile. I can take it, shred it, and throw it into just about anything. Think rotisserie chicken casserole, salads, wraps—you name it. If a recipe calls for shredded chicken, this works every time.
- Third, it’s a recipe shortcut. If your recipe asks you to cook chicken, this skips the entire cooking step. Toss it in and you’ve saved yourself 10–15 minutes, easy.
- Fourth, it’s budget-friendly. Look, they’re doing the cooking and prep work for you. You have to factor in time, energy, cleanup—all of it. And even though it might be a buck or two more than raw chicken, you’re still getting a great deal when you look at the bigger picture.
- And finally, it’s easy and nutritious. Compared to a lot of other convenience foods, rotisserie chicken is just chicken, spices, and juice. No weird ingredients. It’s simple, satisfying, and actually real food.
So those are the five reasons I love rotisserie chicken. I hope you like this tip—and hey, keep coming back for more. Thanks so much.

Scott’s Cooking Tips:
I’ve got a couple quick tips for you when working with rotisserie chicken:
- Strip the meat while the rotisserie chicken is warm. You’ll find that the meat comes off easier to be stored for later use for soups, casseroles or tacos.
- Save the carcass. Why? It’s great for chicken stock or chicken broth. If you’re not going to make it now, you can just put the carcass into a freezer safe bag and freeze until you’re ready.
